I’ve not been on with my birds’ social media much lately. Too stressed with work and what’s going on in the world. On a scale of 1 to 10, my anxiety has been a 12. Today was pretty outside and Misha and I chilled on the porch. Made shrimp that Boo loved (he has no taste, they were pretty awful). Tried to spend 1 on 1 time with Arthur until he bobbed his head in murderous body language

Boo missed going to visit our bird friends today. They’re mostly older and it’s just not a good time to take unnecessary risks. Better safe than sorry

Sometimes I forget what a big boy Misha is. Last night he chewed through his perch and fell off it around 4am. I brought him into bed with me and every time I was almost asleep he would gently try to open my eyes. I drank a ton of coffee today otherwise I’d be sleeping sound

Happy 5 year gotcha day Misha!! I hope we have a lifetime longer together 💗💗💗 Whenever I first got him, I was not wanting to adopt such a huge bird, but agreed to foster… I fully intended on stick with medium goffins sized birds. Misha changed my mind and it was love at first sight! Within a few months Misha had accepted wearing a harness and I was able to take him out with me almost everywhere. He’s proven, despite being in hormonal male adolescence, to be a predictable gentle giant pink feathered bff
